Sorry if I'm on wrong section but it's a serious mess over here.
I prepared a presentation file on MS PowerPoint 2010 on my Windows 7 laptop last week. Everything was fine there before yesterday. But now the .pptx file can't be opened. It stops me with this: "PowerPoint has encountered a problem and needs to close". I know this is an error but really don't know how it took place! Does anyone have any idea for this situation. I haven't backed up the file, so no beter chance for restoring. Any help, please!

Try repairing PP, if not, Google the issue and work through it
